迴風舊夢：黃苗子郁風伉儷捐贈書畫、墨拓、圖籍

Gifts from Mr. & Mrs. Huang Miaozi copyright Artworld.cn All the exhibits of rubbings, paintings, calligraphy and rare books are selected from the generous gifts of Mr. and Mrs. Huang Miaozi. The rubbings are remarkable in both quantity and contents, including bronzes of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, stone carvings of pictorial scenes from the Han, Buddhist images from the Northern Dynasties to the Tang, and stone carvings of painting and calligraphy from the Tang to the Qing. On the other hand, painting and calligraphy by Guangdong masters of the Qing period like Su Renshan and Chen Li, and several works by Huang Miaozi himself are part of the highlights. Among the rare books are Ming and Qing woodblock printed painting manuals and documentary writings on painting and calligraphy.
